About Corporate Shift

Corporate Shift (www.corporate-shift.com) is a blog by, for and about innovative and entrepreneurial people that work inside large organizations. We write on Corporate Shift in order to share interesting developments, experiments and initiatives that are happening inside large organizations.

Open blog
Corporate Shift was started as an initiative to help people that want to make positive changes in the large organization they work in. We decided that an open blog was the best way to start, because sharing information and learning from other organizations is one of the best ways to change. One of the editors, Sieuwert van Otterloo, is also editor of a similar blog StartupJuncture for startup entrepreneurs. Although startup entrepreneurs and people working in large organizations can learn a lot from each other, the group do have different challenges. Therefore we decided to keep the blogs separate.

Diversity
Corporate Shift also supports diversity: Each author can present his or her own views that might be different because each author bring his or her own experience. The range of topics is also not fixed. We expect articles about innovation, strategy, collaboration, employee engagement, new business models,   lean and agile but it will all depend on the authors: the authors write about what they find interesting for people inside large organizations. We do aim to inspire people rather than criticize and are thus looking for positive examples rather than negative ones.

The authors and editors
The team of Corporate Shift consists of authors and editors. Authors write articles irregularly. Editors write regularly but also invite guest auditors and can make administrative decisions such as accepting, rejecting of modifying articles. The following people are the editors:

• Ayush GV (twitter: @ayushgv): Ayush is currently management consultant at the Software Improvement Group. Before that he worked at Infosys.
• Cathal Boogerd (twitter: @cathaljb): former scientist, currently management consultant at the Software Improvement Group. 
• Christiaan Ypma (twitter: @ampyc) : Christiaan has a background in medicine and computer science and now works as management consultant at Software Improvement Group.
• Sieuwert van Otterloo (twitter: @entreprenl): Sieuwert is former strategy consultant (McKinsey&Company) and is a startup enthusiast. He gives advice via Otterloo Ventures about innovation and IT and also writes for startupjuncture.com. 
• Meino Zandwijk (twitter: @meinozandwijk) is founder and director of Dutch.com, a project and advisory firm specialized in keeping companies healthy. 

The authors all work professionally in or with large organisations and use the blog to share their views and experience.
